MARRII Prime Collection™ 

 

The MARRII Prime Collection™  is a collection of management journals publishing content that demonstrates high levels of scientific rigor, high levels of practitioner-relevance and recorded substantial real world impact on management practitioners. In other words, the collection holds management research that is judged to be the most relevant, the most useful and the most impactful to management practitioners.

 

The collection consists of the main MARRII index and its sub-indexes as follows:

To be selected and included in the MARRII Prime Collection™ candidate journals must be evaluated by the MARRII Relevant Content Selection and Advisory Board (RCSAB) and must meet the following MARRII Journal Assessment and Selection Criteria:

Quality

Included management journals must demonstrate high levels of descriptive quality and scientific quality (scientific rigor).

Relevance

Selected journals are required to demonstrate high levels of practitioner-relevance in both operations and article content.

Impact

To be included, journals must demonstrate substantial levels of direct impact on practitioners (actual usage & mentions)

EMARRII Collection

The EMARRII Collection™ 

 

The Emerging Management Research Relevance and Impact Index™ (EMARRII) is a collection of management journals publishing content that demonstrates high levels of scientific rigor, high levels of practitioner-relevance but have not yet met the MARRII criteria for substantial real world impact on management practitioners. In other words, the collection holds management research that is judged to have levels of scientific rigor and high levels of relevance to management practitioners and most importantly, demonstrates promise of recording substantial impact on management practitioners in the future.

 

To be selected and included in the EMARRII Collection™ candidate journals must be evaluated by the MARRII Relevant Content Selection and Advisory Board (RCSAB) and must meet the following EMARRII Journal Assessment and Selection Criteria:

Descriptive Quality

Included management journals must have a well proven and  

established Identity, policies & format and fully adhere to them.

Scientific Quality

Included journals must maintain processes & contain content that demonstrate high levels of peer-  reviewed scientific rigor.

Relevant Operations

Included management journals demonstrate full integration and optimization of relevance across their publishing processes.

Relevant Articles

Included journals’ article contents, format & readability must be optimized for relevance  & for a practitioner audience.

Book Collection

The MARRI Books Collection™ 

 

The Management Research Relevance Index for Books™ (MARRI-B) is a collection of edited management books publishing reviewed chapter content that demonstrates high levels of scientific rigor and high levels of practitioner-relevance. In other words, the collection holds management research in edited book and monograph compilations that is judged to have high levels of scientific rigor and high levels of relevance to management practitioners. 

 

To be selected and included in the MARRI Books Collection™ candidate books must be evaluated by the MARRII Relevant Content Selection and Advisory Board (RCSAB) and must meet the following MARRI-B Assessment and Selection Criteria:

Descriptive Quality

Proceedings Collection

The MARRI Proceedings Collection™ 

 

The Management Research Relevance Index for Proceedings™ (MARRI-P) is a collection of peer reviewed management conference proceedings publishing conference papers that demonstrate high levels of scientific rigor and high levels of practitioner-relevance. In other words, the collection holds management research published in conference proceedings that is judged to have high levels of scientific rigor and high levels of relevance to management practitioners.

 

To be selected and included in the MARRI Proceedings Collection™ candidate books must be evaluated by the MARRII Relevant Content Selection and Advisory Board (RCSAB) and must meet the following MARRI-P Assessment and Selection Criteria:

Details Of Our Content Selection
Procedure And Criteria

Practitioner-relevance and scientific rigor are at the core of our management content selection process. Therefore, before submitting a request for inclusion of a content source into any of the MARRII indexes and collections, publishers are first of all required to thoroughly study the Content Selection Procedure page for an overview of the procedure and the principles underlying how our Relevant Content Selection Advisory Board (RCSAB) selects content for inclusion. Secondly, publishers are required to study details of the assessment and selection criteria for the type of content source for which they seek inclusion (journals, edited books or conference proceedings).
